What's new?

There are new additions to the 'Tips' section, including specific tips on lambing and prolapse fixin' and ways to prevent rips, tears and gouges to hides and clothes.

We've added lots of new photos scattered all around the site -- the spring lambs are all gone so we're showing photos saved for posterity!

Our ram situation has changed, all but one spring ram lamb are gone!

Our Livestock and Production... We raise Katahdins, sheep dogs, cats and carp plus a little bit of hay. The dogs, cats and fish are permanent but the sheep are an ongoing project.

We've included Farming Tips for beginners... Having trouble with something or another?  We've collected tips from patient neighbors and hard experience.  Hope they're useful -- and if you have a favorite tip to share, send it along.

There are a number of breeders in Kansas.  Click here to see a listing of the Katahdin Hair Sheep International members in Kansas.  Other Kansas based breeders and producers are invited to share this site, just contact Richard@KansasKatahdins.com for information.
